Cabrera is fucked, he is down 8 or so homers with 2 weeks to go. He needs to have an epic close to win.

Brady's .297, 50hr 21SB 110rbi season was one of the best ever... though he admitted he used PEDs to rip it up for his contract year. He got his 6 million dollar payday.

Cabrera would have 100 HR's if he got to play half his games at Camden Yards.

here is my take on it. last year Davis hit .270 with 33 HRs, this year he hit .294 with 51(and counting)HRs. His improvement has gone from .501 to .649 that is .150 points, that is unreal. His doubles has virtually "doubled." His numbers have improved, but so has his contact with the ball.

Maybe it is me wanting to enjoy his season, but steroids don't make you see the ball better, and he seems to have gotten a few pointers from Joey Votto on how to "see the ball." Maybe he met his "Annie Savoie" and she has him wearing garters.

this is true... he does get to face AL Central pitching so that is a plus that sort of balances out. People knock Comerica for its deep walls in center, but that also helps drop balls in the gaps for a .BA boost. Look at Miguel's numbers, his BA has blown up since moving to Detroit leading the league the last 3 years and finishing 2nd in the forth. It does have its advantages for him.
