No, not when you have The Sopranos, The Wire, The Shield, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development and even currently Ray Donovan to choose from.

Clearly the best TV show of all time was Perfect Strangers. It was a delightfully perfect blend of the comedic genius of Bronson Pinchot and the biting social satire of life of the foreign immigrant in late 80s/early 90s America.

It's certainly up there with the greatest TV shows. Personally I find Band of brothers and Sopranos to be a little better

Yes. If you have Hulu, the first 2 seasons are there. Give it a few episodes to get the action going.

I would say it is ONE OF the best shows on TV. They have done a great job of compressing such an enormous world that is being developed in the books. I would put it in the same catagory as The Wire, Sopranos, and Breaking Bad, but nothing beats Perfect Strangers!!!!!!! Balki is the greatest of all time.

I love Game of Thrones.. but the Sopranos was, to me, the best show of all time. Seasons 2-4 were gold. You could replay those fucking episodes 100 times and they were still great.. The writing was incredible and not only was the show intense, but you would get belly laughs from almost every episode. Incredible acting and writing.

"The best show of all time" is subjective, depends mostly on personal preference. I related a lot more to the Sopranos than I do to the Lannisters or Starks. Not taking anything away from Game of Thrones, the acting and writing is incredible in its own right. There is nothing even close to GOT on TV today.

    "its a monster, FRANKENSTEIN!"

I think Breaking Bad is the best show. Better Call Saul, while still a new show, if my favorite show on right now.

The Wire was very good. Like Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead, but they have had some peaks and valleys. Sopranos and Game of Thrones are on my agenda - it's just so exhausting to start a long series like those, hahaha. I will one of these days. Once you start, you just plow through seasons.

I watched a few episodes a while back and I did think it moved pretty slowly. Plus they're all so clean ... real Vikings must have looked and smelled like shit. I mean you don't spend months at sea to go rape and plunder and look that good without indoor plumbing, do you? Am I reading into this too much? :minaway:

My 20 year old keeps telling me to start watching Breaking Bad ... I've heard that from lots of others. It's on my list. Fact is, I watch very little TV. I do love the Walking Dead though!

I totally agree with this. It took awhile for me to warm up to BCS, but I love it now.

I also love GoT but it's going to be interesting to see if the quality of the story lines can be upheld when the show completely diverges from the books.
