I'm just not gettin' the hype .... Tastes like a run-of-the-mill fast-food hamburger to me... I've had better burgers at Denny's (and that ain't sayin' much) Fudruckers was about the best store-bought hamburger I've had, but even with that it wasn't anything to do cartwheels over Is America's palate really that unsophisticated ??
In & Out is good because it's all cooked to order, not because the burgers are cooked in a special way or anything. There are still a couple of Fuddrucker's where I live but they don't grind the meat in house anymore so it's not as good.
Yeah... Wendy's is probably the best of the drive-though style fast food places, but they're getting waaay too pricey for a fast food place .... And, In & Out fries are undeniably some of the worst I've ever consumed.. They're like limp sticks of soggy oil
1 step above a cafeteria burger. Very bland. Fries suck. never understood the hype. Animal style is just thousand island dressing + onions. that's fucking gross in ANY other context.....
No way for McDonal'ds or BK. That shit is already precooked or mostly cooked and they just heat it up when you order it but you can catch them sometimes when they are just making everything and you get a fresh burger. The Wendy's by my work is so fast when you go through the drive through there is no way it is made to order. In & Out, Five Guys and even Denny's really do make the burgers fresh to order.
I think I'm in the minority but I hate Five Guys fries..soggy peanut oil crap. Burgers are good though.
Anyone had BGR Burger Joint burgers?? They are pretty decent they started popping up all around here. from my BGR review thread..
There aren't too many of those in SoCal ...But I gotta say, that doesn't look all that impressive... The fries look pretty similar to all the other places out there
