Most of the movies are 15-20 years old, the newer movies suck, the good movies on there I've already seen multiple times, no new releases...

    Is it just me?

Netflix used to be awesome - then mail service went from 1-2 day delivery to a week and the streaming service went from having almost everything to almost nothing. I cancelled early last year - I briefly had the service again as a gift, but cancelled that too. It's just not worth it.

And they don't plan on adding more titles - they want to be the new HBO rather than a Prime.

it blows and is virtually the same as Amazon prime video. I wasted a $100 on that for the year.

Netflix is best for watching television shows. If you haven't watched tv series like Breaking Bad or the Walking Dead, the $7.99 price is worth it just for those 2 programs alone.

Netflix orignal shows are surprisingly very good too. I didn't like House of Cards but Orange is the new Black and a new cartoon called Bojack Horseman are both very, very good.

As far as movies goes, it can be real slim pickings. I'll find a couple I don't mind watching a month, but it seems like none of the good movies are on there. And recent releases are almost non-existent.

I share my plan with a family member so for $4/month, it's hard to complain. I definitely get my money's worth.

I wish they offered an upgraded membership option for better movies. Or what about porn, lol? I wouldn't mind at least a few cinemax-type of shows :)

Check out Couch Tuner.com It's free and most of the shows are available on the same night they are on regular television.
