Did the birthday show suck
Maybe I'm jaded, but it wasn't anything memorable. Most notable is that Robin is pushing 350 pounds. How does that happen when you only eat grass?
It just kind of happened. I listened for the entire show and it never really went anywhere. Everything was rehearsed. Nothing spontaneous happened. Felt like a huge waste of time.
I feel like an asshole for saying this but I enjoyed it ....... lemme take another drank :
No big surprise guests from what I see, not even Billy Joel.
I only heard about 45 minutes of it, but what I heard sucked a big fat dick. Letterman psychoanalysis =
I enjoyed the first couple of hours, but after that last hour of self congratulatory bullshit, I feel dirty and disgusted with myself for even listening. If it wasn't for the listening thread here, I wouldn't have even turned the shit on.
They were either over-hyping one of the guests that was there as the "big surprise" (can't imagine who), or the big surprise stood them up. That would be hilarious.
Thought I was gonna listen to the whole thing but I tuned in for 5 mins and all I heard was Joan complete unfunny hack rivers and that was enough. Looking at the pics only guest that i'm surprised is bryan cransten and robert downey jr. Saw one pic of robin, I hope people start calling out on her veggie bullshit, she looks bigger then benjy.
I've yet to hear it. Only thing I'm really interested in is Louis CK's set. I imagine the rest was whatever.
You may as well not listen. It was grossly underwhelming.
I didn't listen. I went out with friends for dinner and drinks. Counting on the reports from Dawgs.
I wouldn't call what Louis CK did a "set' so much as a rambling improv. Still, and this says a lot, it was one of the highlights.
The Stones, Beatles, and AC/DC could have played and you dopes would have said it sucked.
Did you listen? I thought a lot of people here were excited in the first hour because the show had some humor and energy. It didn't last.
Bullshit. Dave Grohl did a couple songs and it was fine. The rest of the evening just paled by comparison.
I thought it was pretty good until that Letterman interview. Howard is so hung up about Jay Leno and nobody gives a shit. Plus Letterman is an unfunny bore.
Show sucked from then until Dave Grohl was on. Thought it finished strong.
i couldnt wait for it to end.started off ok but WAY too many musical performances.a comedy central type roast wouldve been so much fun.hollywood would line up to to give wiggy shit.the audience wasnt even interested.so sad
Some of it. Good music but the banter was poor. Can't blame the talent. They had good music.
