I actually ventured in that thread for the first time yesterday.
And felt like it should have some sort of funhouse theme music.
I didn't last too long, a couple pages tops.

It's got a real Twin Peaks vibe, but way more confusing.

    Me too.

The only concrete reveal that I recall was that the USA Network version of Private Parts had an extra scene after the credits where Howard made out with a blonde woman and made light of the movie really being for his wife.

I found most of those Kostabi paintings creepy. Never clicked on the songs.

Nothing of substance has been added to that "empty promises" blueballs thread since the attention-whoring OP was "Joner1" on alt.fan.howard-stern usenet newsgroup back in the 90s - aside from the self-indulgent bandwidth-wasting jpgs and videos. So the answer to your question is an "affirmative hell yes"

Or at least move it down to the hoochie bin, if the mods don't want to lock it down.

If it is closed, smichal should be allowed to make the last post, out of respect. I hope it's a blind gossip item. :artiejj:

Dawg and I discussed it when we were talking about the Issue wih the old threads. We let it stay for now because of the new members from SFN that recently joined. If any of them want to lobotomize themselves they could check it out. I kind of like Odd Vaark's thought of the Hoochie Bin, we could even sticky it there.

Yes, yes and yes. Nothing will ever be learned there except this item that was posted by Marky

    ------------------------------------------------------
Interesting read. I got a kick out of it.
Maybe I can shed some light on this.

Let me start by saying I cannot give my name, job description, location, etc., so please don’t ask. This will be my first and only post. I am not a Howard Stern listener and am only involved in this though my associates.
I came across this message board and topic while searching on Google for some random words for an issue I am dealing with. I came across this board and read through this discussion.

To start, let’s just say I have associates with a forensics accounting firm. They locate money in death, divorce, civil litigation, etc. Basically if someone tries to hide money their job is to find it.

I cannot give too many specifics but let’s just say that everything discussed here is in 2 sections. The issue at hand was that Mr. Stern began liquidating money allocated shortly before his divorce into an Entertainment LLC subsidiary that he owned. He subsequently converted the LLC to a C-Corp so that his ownership percentage could be legally transferred to other parties while remaining a shareholder.

However, that is not the issue that gets someone put in jail for a considerable time. Where you cross the line is when you involve the SEC, FINRA, and the IRS.

This is all about stock. The Federal investigation that has been underway for quite sometime involves Mr. Stern not only concealing and liquidating assets illegally through third parties this mainly has to deal with stock.

I said there are 2 sections and here is the second answer to many questions I read. When the process started all immediate known associates of Mr. Stern were looked at. His wife Beth Stern was looked at. The issue was whether or not she had financial involvement prior to his divorce and was she involved in asset transfers. To easily describe it is they found out is she had a life in Europe in the mid 1990s and had involvement in dealing with wealthy men. The wealthy men angle was what was dug into in order to see if she had dealt with money laundering in the past on an international level. It turns out she didn’t but other incriminating stories came to light.

The bottom line is this. If you ask why I am revealing this I don’t have a great answer. I know this won't come back to me because I will deny it. I am out of town right now and came across this message board through a search on this very topic I am dealing with. There have been some leaks with this investigation and from what we are told Mr. Stern is going public with this next month so this story wont matter. We have already heard his strategy and there are many holes in it. I don't listen to his show but I wouldn't be shocked if he started to drop hints for his defenese. Don’t think him suing Sirius doesn’t have something to do with this as a diversionary tactic.

I will be kind enough to answer the last question. The firm investigating this had suspicion that significant assets were moved through Beth Stern and other parties prior to their marriage. Standard procedure in the firm for cataloging investigations is that the issue is logged with an acronym along with the individual’s last name. In this situation the violation was classified as Securities Concealed Outside Traditional Trading or what we call a S.C.O.T.T. violation. This was filed under SCOTT Ostrosky.

The hoochie bin is a great idea. If it's locked or deleted, he'll just start another one -- we know what happens when one head of the hydra is lopped off.
