You have a better chance of bringing back Elvis than bringing back BOR.

    It's dead. Forever.

ya, i heard it was coming back on. they didn't pull it due to controversy, why would howard care if BOR threw steve under the bus.

apparently they took down a few of the H101 shows temporarily. i think it has to do with howard trying to revamp his brand.

Revamp his brand, lol. The truth is all that shit was pulled from 101 due to sour grapes over the lawsuit not going Howards way, a taking all his toys and going home tantrum. He's now only going to output the bare minimum the contract requires, as in "why should i provide sirius more content if im not being compensated".

Thats the idiotic mentality and then he wonders why they think hes a pain in the ass and treat him like the outsider he is.

maybe he thought that these side shows were taking up the staffs time.
i never heard him complain about Will/jason but he has complained about ralph/gary for not putting the show first.
i knew this would get a laugh from people, but i truly believe howard is scared shitless of what to do next after sirius and is sort of putting more effort into the show.
by more effort, i really mean make his staff worker harder for the same pay while howard still works 2/3 days a week.

hmm, perhaps, but that would be pretty stupid. he can't just give sirius the big F U. he is going to want wtv is left of his fan base to go with him to the next gig.
other than sirius, i don't see what howard can do. obviously people will say podcast but i think podcast works better for comedians so they can mobilize their brand. people aren't use to paying for podcasts.

it is indefensible how cheap he is. despite having more than enough material wealth, he will never have enough status. he once said that money is your score card in life, so i guess that's why he doesn't want to hire any talent. he did hire some back office manager lady.

he now has writing meetings, he makes gary work 5 days a week, he has this sort of monologue with shitty benjy jokes. it is in fact because he is a baby that he wouldn't just let the show go to the shitter, he would rather "teach/show" show sirius the consequence of not paying him

I rarely listen to THSS from beginning to end. i usually check out marksfriggin, find stuff i like, then skip to those parts. in contrast, i would listen to the entire BOR show. they always had something. Will & Jason could always go back to gossiping about the same people. the one i enjoyed the most was when Jason talked about how gary is threatened by him.
you might be right that they would run out of steam eventually, but at the moment, i think we can all unanimously agree that it beats the wrap up show. gary and john = snooze fest.

So the consensus is that it will be back? I doubt it.

Has anything on 'hiatus' ever come back?

He could have given up a chimney or two worth of money at the beginning and made H101 a powerhouse of like-minded DJs. Terrestrial radio was already headed into the shitter; he could have hired some of the best for pennies on the dollar, and actually gotten the number of listeners he claims. Imagine the best talk from L.A., Chicago, Philly, wherever else, 24-7 on Sirius 101. Instead, we got Ferrell (whom I like, but who didn't fit), Bubba (a lesser talent, but at least he did fit that pattern, until they decided to simulcast the free show), and Chuck fucking Zito. Meanwhile, the great radio guys have splintered off into podcasting or gotten stuck on emasculated terrestrial shifts.

    Howard, YOU BLEW IT.

They destroyed Gary in that one. It was so great. Will even revealed that Gary had a panic attack when he double booked Jewel/Jenny McCarthy and thought he would be fired. They sounded like parents scolding their child when that happened.

it'll be back as soon as Artie is a guest on the show. Also when the Eric the Midget Real Doll is made. And the "3rd Chair" is filled. Somewhere around then.
