the singing made me
Im just glad that the gun violence will finally end.
It's all silliness. The flag, the ceremony, the reaction. They really didn't have something better to do than watch a flag be taken down? And then start singing a stupid song?
Bet that flag dude could roll a mean fatty. And was it racist or racially appropriate to hand the flag over to the black guy at the end? I don't know anymore.
This unfortunate display is nothing more than another glimpse of that singular point where the thinking of small minds intersects with the mob mentality.
Regardless of your stance regarding the appropriateness of the Battle Flag of Northern Virginia flying over state capitols in the present era, it nevertheless remains the case that a great many brave men fought and died fighting beneath its colors for a variety of reasons that extend well beyond simply the issue of slavery. For that reason alone, the occasion of its lowering should have been met with an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Thoughtful persons can reverentially make persuasive arguments on either side of this action. Simpletons are compelled to turn it into a pep rally.
That's what I thought when I heard the singing. How disrespectful.
well said. it started with the sc gov grandstanding and patting herself on the back. and wtf did this cunt think was going to happen when they had a ceremony. after cuntface made the decision, should have just removed it in the middle of the night.
cant wait until that cuntface runs for president.
Fuck everybody that worries about that flag one way or the other. The Stars and Stripes and the state flags are the only important ones.
but the stars & stripes was the flag of legal slavery....
So maroon is anti American. That's good to know.
cultural cleansers really should read.
North wins again!
It should be disrespected as any treasonous display should be.
I don't think so. I think he's just accurately pointing out which "symbol" the idiots who were singing songs in South Carolina this morning, will be setting their sights on next.
He's made his statement. He has to stand by it till he renounces it.
another reminder of what posts here...
What did he say that wasn't an accurate representation of the truth?
No one is more Southern than myself.......
And the Stars and Bars should not be flown over Government buildings and state houses.....Because, Black men and women have both made great sacrifices and contributions to
OUR Nation......The war is over, The South lost and slavery died with it....Time to move on.....I have a Rebel flag tattoo...
And have a Stars and Bars sticker on my car to let the square headed yankee transplants know where I stand.......
