BY Jason Silverstein NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 5:16 PM Timothy Going, a former coach at Fairfield Community High School, admitted to filming the girls in hotels and locker rooms. A former high school cross-country coach in Fairfield, Ill. got sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Monday for using hidden cameras to watch female students undressing. Timothy Going, 44, admitted to putting cameras in hotel rooms while the girls’ cross-country team was traveling for competitions in 2012 and 2013. He also put a camera in a toilet stall in the girls locker room at Fairfield Community High School, which was found by a janitor, triggering an investigation into Going. Police later found videos of girls ages 15 to 18 undressing and showering. Going pleaded guilty in September to three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possessing sexual images of minors. Team members told police that when the team traveled, Going would tell the girls to wait outside hotel rooms as he went in alone, saying he was checking for room damages. He would check the rooms again when they were leaving the hotel, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Going also worked as a math teacher for the school. School officials were not available for comment.
