So fucking boring. Who gives a shit about shows from 25 yrs ago?
So he did Carolla's podcast a week or two before Stern's show? That's funny.
Which interview was better? I didn't hear the one on Carolla.
Me neither; I just read about it here. At least one poster (stripes) seemed to think it was really, really good.
The history of television is a subject that interests
Especially those of us who are old enough to have enjoyed some of it the first time.
Actually, I kinda liked the interview. I personally like those behind the scenes types of stories. I am currently reading the oral history of MTV. I would rather listen to Littlefield give inside stories on Cheers, Frasier, Friends, Seinfeld, etc. than more AGT talk.
I'd say Adam's was better because I didn't want to kill puppies during it.
Seriously, I was going ballistic over Howard's constant interruptions -- WTF? Here's a guy with real stories to tell, and Howard has to insert his short attention span thinking into Littlefield's every answer.
My favorite was when Warren had just finished saying NBC was getting 75 million viewers for Thursday nights, and in the next sentence, Howard brings up the same subject, and asks Warren how many viewers they got on Thursday nights.
Now he's not even listening?
I'm a diehard, but looks like he's really at the end of his road.
Littlefield seems like the giant asshole prick napoleon everyone made him out to be. Typical Hollywood fuckstick
wtf are you talking about? Stern is the greatest interviewer
of ALL times!!!
Howard loves it when his interviews get headlines, this one should be "Howard Stern Discovers a Substitute for Ambien".
Without listening to Marbles I can say hands down that Carolla's interview was better--he actually let Littlefield expound properly.
yes, the crap on TV now is so much more interesting.
Howard's Littlefield interview ran for about 68 1/2 minutes.
Part 1: 14:04
Part 2: 14:25
Part 3: 14:02
Part 4: 13:46
Part 5: 12:09
I tried listening to this and got to about 5 minutes in and had to give up. Motherfucker sounds like High Pitch Eric's brother and it didn't sound like it was gonna get anymore interesting.
That dude's voice was like nails on a fucking chalkboard. I couldn't make it.
It will end when he takes his sorry fucking corporate ass up to the roof of the building and takes a swan dive down...face first...into the street. His co-workers should follow diligently. Rest in Peace you Fucking Jerkoff.
I liked it! My era
He should have been the new voice of Kermit after Jim henson died.
