i'm not old enough to watch shows on CBS, and MTV hasn't played music since the 1980s. I'm not sure I'd miss it.

Don't care. I watch everything online for free, I can pause and resume when I want. I have my big screen TV hooked up to my pc.

I only watch CNN and weather channel. I sometimes watch the local news, whatever is on while I'm eating. I think I only get 30 channels, but my internet is great.

So just because you guys dont watch these channels you are fine with your provider dropping them without asking you or dropping your bill to compensate? :jj:

Some of you really like it without lube :jj:

...you have to like it without lube to have cable to begin with. there are always a boat load of channels included in your "deal" that youre never going to watch. one of these days television companies will get smart and see their programming direct to the consumer and stream their content over the web. and fuck cable providers all together.

I do agree, with Netflix, Hulu, amazon about to introduce a new box. Cable might be on the way out.

...i get to see what i want on the web and can hdmi into my tv. the only strong hold these corporations have is internet access. providing television programming isnt as necessary as it once was.

MTV, VH1, BET, Comedy Central, Spike, couldn't careless. Palladia I watch sometimes late at night, while trying to fall asleep. They have some good documentaries.

Nick channels, eh. My kid watches some shows, but I could fill that time with PBSKids or DVDs or by actual parenting.

I'm not in the at risk pool though.

net neutrality is dying bro. there is no way they are gonna let some new "box" bring them to their knees. they'll throttle it or just buy it and fuck us that way.

No, i meant just cancel your cable and live without it all together. If we all did it they would go bankrupt in a matter hours. See?
