So the computers decided that Alabama deserved to get a rematch with LSU for the national title.

Teams that Alabama beat in the BCS Top 25: 2
Teams that OK. State beat in the BCS Top 25: 5

Did Alabama win it's conference? No
Did OK State win it's conference? Yes

    But the computers decided otherwise.

Plus add the fact that Virginia Tech and Michigan got invitation to the Sugar Bowl. VT got smoked by Clemson 38-10, Michigan was ranked 13th but they got invited over teams like Boise State, Kansas State and South Carolina who were ranked ahead of them.

Oh yeah, there is no politics involved in the BCS.

    So :fuck: BCS

By the way, i'm just a casual fan I don't root for OK State or anyone else really. I find it disturbing that the system is fixed to help certain teams.

That is all, please carry on.

Could you imagine a LSU vs Stanford and OK State vs Alabama semi-finals? the ratings would be trough the roof.

At worst case, OK State and Alabama play each other and winner plays LSU.

Never understood it. At least the college teams I follow have playoffs and a championship, none of this writer's poll bullshit...

Canader's collegiate football league (CIS) has had a playoff system for years.. its a lot easier to do when there's only 40 schools that field teams, but there's always a clear winner at the end of the season who actually earned it through 3 playoff wins.

The NCAA always say that doing a playoff would add another game, thus having to play too many games.

However in 2005 the NCAA added a 12th regular season (most teams schedule a softie anyway) and with the big conferences, you get another game. Just remove the 12th game and have a 4 team playoff. But of course that would make too much sense.

There's a definite SEC bias in the models. I guess they factor in the fact that National Champs last 5 Years were all SEC.

Nick Saban voted in the coaches poll.

He voted OK State #4 and Stanford #3. :jj:
