Driver died from traumatic injuries, not fire.

That report clarifies nothing concerning the cause of death and is/was a complete waste of time. Lets hire some specialists (taxpayer expense) to determine if he was dead prior to the fire 'cause that will make a fucking difference.

all it says is that the autopsy could not show an injury severe enough that they could say that Walker died on impact. As for the reasons for the investigation and the autopsy, well, in a way, that protects the government. In something like this, someone always sues, and they will blame the city for a dip in the road, or a pothole, or for not putting up a "driving over 125 mph on a city street is hazardous" sign. When it comes to the lawsuit, pain and suffering is a big part of the decision on damages.... If you can prove he died on impact, less pain and suffering.... but im not a lawyer.

Bet your bottom dollar there will be lawsuits by the family... they will sue the town, the driver, the manufacturer of the tires.. ( Goodyear probably has 100 lawyers defending them), Porsche, etc..

I think 'burning' is a particular type of thermal injury. There are others like 'scalding' or 'frostbite' for example.

With that kind of impact, and it looks like the car hit first on the passenger side, he had to be knocked out. Maybe breathing, but he had to be unconscious. That fucking car is in two.

...porsche has been sued over deaths in this car before. apparently it doesnt drive like any car most of us have driven before, small differences in the road or the surface including expansion joints can cause this car to become a handful. i agree everybody will be sued including the gas company. i saw a story of a gas pipe sticking out of the ground pre car crash and something eluding to the gas pipe was broken in the crash and caused the fire. i dont know how much truth there is to it.
