Do you think folks in the inner city even bother to turn in a 1040? I'm seriously wondering if this isn't a huge unreported secret that would undermine our tax code if exposed.
I doubt someone that wouldn't think twice about killing someone for their sneakers would give a fuck about filling out a tax form. I also doubt that this administration would pursue charges against them or that our government would even have the ability to pursue them.
since you are mr rightwing... are you okay with fat fucks taking your tax money for lack of self control?
imagine the nonsense going on in that house
we don't have to ... here it is
I think the thing that undermines the tax code is all of these goddamn companies taking loopholes and tax credits for shit that they pay off Congress to write for them. They're likely doing 1,000x more damage than this piece of shit.
Hey if they think they are getting money back they will file Shit they have free tax filing in every part of any state
has there ever been 800lbs pieces of shit?
Better than I am with the 20-30 million illegals sucking up my tax $
When i see some of these court shows on t v how the hell do they have 4/5 thousand coming from the i r s
Ya the loop hole is a the guys running hedge funds making 200 million and paying zero taxes. That's the issue
I'm not gonna sweat some 7-11 worker ripping off 2k in taxes, I'm more pissed at people making over 5 million a year paying nothing. That's the problem and they can afford to pay a million in taxes.
Plus many of the true one per centers didn't build wealth, they inherited a company or money or create fake wealth like a hedge fund thru loopholes.
are you fat?
I work in a production factory and the fastest people to file are the low income workers because they are almost always getting a return. Too many of them don't even wait to file themselves and transfer their return to a loan company for a ridiculous rate just to get the money faster. Not a lot of independent business owners in the low income neighborhoods, the vast majority who work get a return on what has already been taken from their checks.
As someone else said the problem with taxes are the rich have set up a system that protects them. Why do you pay 25% (variable to income but this is middle ground) in Federal taxes for hard labor and some banker pays 15% on money he got for buying stock in someone else's company based on other people's hard labor? You might say well, the investor takes the risk and supports the growth of industry in America! Well, so do I when I go to work. I take the risk that my company will stay in business and I help grow the business far more than some dude who gets free money from the Federal Reserve and then uses it to buy stock that earns him a profit that he pays lower taxes than me on. If Americans had any understanding of how things actually work (instead of being scared of ISIS) their would be riots in the streets.
Don't forget the 95% of muslim refugees who will forever be supported by the American taxpayers.
Safety net programs are about 10% of the budget. The bigger consumers of tax revenue are (roughly): social security (25%; but that is a "pay as you go" system); health-children programs, like Medicare/Medicaid (25%); defense (15%); and interest on debt (10% or so).
I'm not a fan of Ryan, but at least he understands that the whole "welfare queen" trope is an overplayed political ploy and not at all where the action is. If you really want to reduce federal spending, the action is in SS, defense and Medicare. But those three are politically rather popular; so it's back to welfare, which gets you political points as a pol, but fiscally, is not all that important.
By the way, why hasn't this fat, draft dodging fuck been tossed in the gaol for blowing $1 TRILLION on his shit war that made a total mess of the Middle East? Or is the deal that it's only a problem when the costs are incurred when the black guy is running the country?
"We'll spend $200 billion this year treating diabetes, which is significantly driven by obesity," Kirchhoff tells Aaron Task at the Milken Institute Global Conference. "Twenty-five million Americans are diabetic, and there are another 78 million Americans who are pre-diabetic. We have an entire generation of people who are going to be less well as a result of lifestyle."
One recent health study found that the percentage of Medicare beneficiaries who were obese rose from 21% in 1997 to 29% in 2006. A report on the CDC web site concluded that medical costs associated with obesity were estimated at $147 billion in 2008. Medical costs for obese people paid for by third parties were $1,429 higher than those of normal weight individuals.
Medicaid is a safety net program
Bush and Cheney were terrible for our fiscal situation - they exploded our debt by over $4T
...which makes the $8T Obama has added that much worse
no, but if i were, that wouldn't change the fact that i'm a legal american
