What's the deal with blacks and ministers? My wife has about 5 black people in her office. 2 of them are ministers. I used to manage a call center that was mostly black. 2 of the 4 supervisors were ministers. One of the supervisor's husband was also a minister. About 5 or 6 of the other ladies were ministers. When I lived in Indiana, I knew about 10 black people well. 2 of them were ministers. It seems like half the black people you meet bring out that they are ministers. Do some of the predominantly black churches have multiple ministers? I'm sure it's cultural but they always expect the same respect you give a minister in a church where there is only one minister. When half the church is a minister, it kind of loses some impact, doesn't it?
