but now i can't stop thinking about a les paul...
love the gold.
how you doing tonight, pal?
good. my gf took a nap this afternoon so i smoked a little weed, played some guitar, and then started looking at les paul's online. good times. you?
I have martin, taylor, goodall, collings
sounds like a chill afternoon
I have nothing to do for the next week except fucking around too
My bud has a PRS that is like the nicest thing ever
I can't afford the Les Pauls I really want, so I got a couple of decent Hagstrom copies. I used to be all into the Fender thing, but then I got G&L that blew them all out of the water. I HIGHLY recommend checking out G&Ls, and not the crappy "Legacy" economy line, either....
I love me some Rics!
Two totally different, but distinct sounds, love the crispness of my start, and the warmth and comfort of my les paul. What I do not like is how heavy the les paul gets after a while. Lately though I have really been playing my rickenbacker 4003 since I have been on a bass kick.
Oh and I finally had my strat fixed since it would not stay in tune.
i've never been able to get into prs guitars. first, they're tiny. second, i hate the neck (too thick). third, i don't ever relly think they sound that amazing. so many people swear by them though.
gibson has this min-etune thing that looks balling.
Although this one isn't mine, I have one exactly like this. 1974 20th Anniversary Gibson Les Paul Custom.
As Larry David would say, it's pretty...pretty...pretty good.
IDK how to explain it. It's so consistent or something. Just pure precision. You can't make it go out of tune.
and I love thick necks.
That was called the robot I think when they first released it a few years back, that this is awesome, but pretty pricey and hard to get a hold of.
I've always preferred humbuckers, myself.
I got one of these, active EMG's.
kinda off topic, you guys seen a recent picture of Zakk Wylde?
i think this is different than the robot. that was hard wired into the guitar and involved knobs on the body of the guitar. this thing is pretty inexpensive, i believe, and only mounts to the headstock.
