I've never used EBAY in my life and I apologize if this is a dumb question....

There are two people bidding on the fuck Howard's wife prize.... However if you look at the bid history one of the bidders is bidding against himself and raising the price. Can someone explain?

Also they both have very similar shady looking user names. What's that all about?

You can continually up your original bid in an effort to outbid a higher bidder. The track record will remain.

    Say that someone bids $1,000.

You bid $500. Then you bid $600. Then you bid $700....and on and on.

All of the bids will show.

It means the person set a max price they're willing to pay and someone else is bidding but not bidding higher than that price so every time they place a higher bid, the original bidder's price goes up. Hope that makes sense.

I'm looking at eBay through mobile and can only see each bidders first and last initials in the bidding history but it looks like there's at least 9 different bidders. Have no idea if they're similar though. My guess, Kaplan and JD go lazy with their user name ideas. The person who bid $5k has only 2 previous eBay transactions. That's the shady part if you ask me. There's also a fake auction that's labeled not real but still selling for over $300. No idea what that's about but shows how retarded...sorry, slow adultish... Stern fans are these days.
