JD just log onto MFC or chaturbate.com

You can watch girls get off on webcam for free.

You dont need to pay for private shows.

between blowing money on internet whores and strippers and the fact that he gets paid dirt, i'm surprised he saved that much. that dude is a dumb motherfucker. he'll be totally fucked when howard's gone. $15k ain't gonna last long while he's applying for jobs with a resume that simply reads "i can watch and record tv real good n stuff."

I'm not sure what his credit card as well as other debt is, but for someone on his salary living in nyc $15,000 is not bad. Much better than I expected but he may be one of those that piles up stuff on the credit card

$15k in savings probably puts him in the top 15% of Americans, as far as savings go...pretty impressive actually..

I'm surprised it's that much - like most of the other staffers, he has questionable skills and saving that much isn't bad for a guy who makes his living pulling TV clips for a radio show.

Scott Depace is acting like JD is going to max out his 401 K which is 17,500 this year? Then max out a ROTH IRA which has gone up to $5,500 this year then have money left to invest in Mutual Funds accounts

Step 1 should be 401K at 6% match and Step 2 should be 3 months Salary in a High Yield Savings/ paying off Credit Debt now if JD has done all that and manages to save all this money then he is clearing 200K + a year :dontknow:

This, I was kind of shocked that he managed to have 15K put away, must be in some sort of 401k that's taken automatically from his check, no way he'd actually start a savings/investment account and contribute to it.

I assume $14,999 of that is in his 401k.

He's a relatively young guy with no family. He should have a weekend job as a bartender or something like that where he is pulling in an extra couple of hundred dollars in cash every weekend

Yes. Howard, Ellen, and Beth have good retirement plans from 112.

Someone repost the 112 pension documents, por favor.

I'd almost say 'as it should be'....I know if all my savings were in saving accounts or other liquid assets I would have spent it all... (but I appreciate your point, you should at least be disciplined enough to have 6 months of emergency funds at hand).

But as others have said, $15k, particularly having gone through what amounts to 2 recessions (tech bubble bursting & post 9/11, 2007 housing bubble bursting) he hasn't had the good fortune of watching his money nearly double year after year for a decade the way it had for most of the 80's and ALL of the 90's....

Most people his age live paycheck to paycheck, and probably always will. Those of us who don't are probably lucky to have been raised by depression era families (or were somehow influenced by that mindset)

    No way.

Contributing 6% of JD's $25,000 is way too many marboes for Howard to just give away.

Most of that money is probably from his "appearances" with the block party. I bet he didn't have a dime in his savings until he started with the block party.
