    Do you realize the Mets were losing 10-0 to the Phillies yesterday, then scored 8 straight unanswered runs?

    With the 17-0 win today, that means the Mets have scored 25 unanswered runs against Phila.

    It's been an 18 year death march since they came back. As a NE Ohio guy, Cleveland inspired sports misery is in my DNA, but I tapped out on that unrelenting dumpster conflagration in 2009 when they kicked off their fourth full on rebuild in ten years.

    Now I just look at the clowns like a good sitcom. Art Modell (may he have a searing hot pitchfork up his ass) killed the real Browns in 1995 because he was a shitty businessman.

    I was at last night's game.

    Do you realize Cecinni's second double missed being a three-run homer by two feet, and if it cleared the wall then Bruce's homer in the ninth would have tied the game.

    Only three other teams in MLB history have come back from a 10-0 deficit.

    the jets reputation as a bottom team is overstated. They are average over the last 20 years or so. Bills, fins , AFC south besides colts, browns, bengals, AFC west besides broncos, NFC east besides giants, NFC north besides packers, NFC south, NFC west.....none of those teams are any better than the jets as a franchise since most shedders have watched football.

    fine, a few awful franchises won 1 ring in 30 terrible years (Seattle, saints, rams) and the 49ers and cowboys had dynasties 20-30 years ago.
