Didn't realize today was the anniversary of Jim Morrison's death.
The Doors sure had a great sound.

This is one of my favourites:

Did a lot of drugs to that album in particular, and the Doors in general. R.I.P. Jim.

I'm not big on this whole celebrating the day of death when it comes to celebrities though. Seems a bit maudlin.

I hear ya, Snappy, but it's the only news item running in Canada besides the Royal visit, so I'll takes what I can gets.

Besides, it was an excuse to post The Soft Parade. Haven't listened to it in a long time. Love it.

I often picture Ed Grimley dancing when I hear the intro. And the outro. :c

That's weird. I just brushed my hair like that and did that dance while listening.

Maybe that's Ray's left hand playing that bass line on Touch Me. Sounds very bass-like for then tho. :bigthink:

Mr. Mojo Risin is an anagram of Jim Morrison. True story.

I thought Manzarek played the bass lines on his keyboard for all their songs?
