The Chicago Bears were at least in the game against Arizona today until Cutler threw a pick six and "injured himself" trying to tackle the defensive back who ran the ball in for the TD.

Here's my issue: at first it was reported he hurt his shoulder. Then it was reported he pulled a hammy.

There's plenty of video of him leaving the field with 4 minutes remaining in the first half. He walked to the locker room without a limp.

He never showed up for the second half, even to stand on the sidelines. Why would a hamstring injury require him to be isolated in the locker room?

DID JAY CUTLER THROW A FIT AND QUIT ON THE BEARS TODAY?

I am a Bears fan, and I think he quit today.

Could be the best thing to happen to the Bears this season.

Cutler's deal might be the one pro contract out there more stupid than Robinson Cano's deal with the Mariners.

You didn't see the Great Jimmy Clausen try to play professional football this afternoon. At one point he was 2 out of 6 passing for a total of one yard.

I'm not saying this is the case, because I have no way of knowing, but there are certain types of injuries where they'll start treatments almost immediately. :dontknow:

Most starting QB's would need to be arrested to be kept off the playing field during an NFL game. Cutler walked off the field looking very healthy. There was nothing wrong with his legs when he departed.

I assumed he had broken a finger AGAIN as he did a few years ago on an identical play.

Trust me, his legs were fine as he all but motored off the field.

Hard to believe a guy with such a winning personality like Cutler could be kept off the field:

Cutler was actually having a good game until he threw the stupid interception. He was successful with a few designed running plays and he had 100% completions (8 for 8 up until the interception).

Clausen looked like they pulled him out of the stands and handed him the football.

the guy always comes off as very unlikable.

why are QBs and kickers even trying to make tackles anyways?
after u kick it or throw am INT, get the fuk off the field.
even if u dont try to tackle someone u can get blindsided

All kidding aside, I think when his contract runs out the city of Chicago will party almost as hard as when the '85 Bears won it all.

I noticed when watching highlights that until that interception he had no incompletions it looked like.

So, good news, none of his passes even touched the ground!

Cutler is one of those who would be fine with a great offensive line. I remember a game a few seasons back where they sacked him something like 12 times in the first half and they took him out for the second half.

I believe his contact guarantees payment through all of 2016, if not longer. I know the contract runs through 2020 if both sides agree.

The problem is that Chicago has no other QB options and they suck at the draft.

The Eagles have -14 yards rushing and a total of 30 yards of offense at the 12:30 mark in the 3rd quarter.
