    Howard invented Peter Griffin. He used to do the character in his puppet shows. Seth McFarlane stole the idea.

    I don't know if you all remember but Seth Mcfarlane was on the stern show last year, seems to have really brought this show into the big time. Chalk one more up for howard and his ability to move the needle. Seth mcFarlane owes his succes to The Howard Stern Show.
