    Grace Slick/Paul Kantner also did some albums together in the early 70s, kind of a Jefferson Airplane sound.

    Absolutely love the ballads that Marty Balin did with JS. Other than that the only plus was Papa John continuing with them as well as Tuna. Starship does not even deserve mention. So I guess JA. However one of my favorite albums was Blows against the empire by JS before there really was a JS.

    I have to agree with you on this, though I think the hits in later years saturated the airwaves to the point of madness. I could probably recite "We Built This City" word for word in my sleep...and it's one of my least favorites.

    I got a lot of that stuff from my brother when he moved, the first Jefferson Starship is good but each subsequent one got a bit weaker.

    I loved the spinoff band Hot "fuckin'" Tuna! Jorma and Jack rocked and jammed for hours..ahh those were the days
