Not nothing. Content that holds up to the test of time that literal (not Howard-does-his-gazintas math) millions want over and over.

It's no Whalerock Robin. Wait till they get the tapes.

If you are the star (not a star of the show, but the star who gets a piece of the show or favorable syndication deals) or creator of a hit sitcom, it is like printing money forever. People like David and Seinfeld, the Friends cast, Charlie Sheen, etc. will be getting massive residual checks long after they are dead.

‘Seinfeld’ Reruns Soak Up A Sponge-Worthy $3 Billion Since Cancellation; Co-Creators Jerry Seinfeld And Larry David Cash In

    http://www.ibtimes.com/seinfeld-rer...lation-co-creators-jerry-seinfeld-larry-david

Repeat fees for “Seinfeld” have generated $3.1 billion since the final episode aired on NBC 15 years ago. The enduring 1990s sitcom, created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, is the most profitable 30-minute show in television history, and it has been for some time. But the latest syndication negotiations have pushed the series through the $3 billion mark, the Independent’s Adam Sherwin reported on Wednesday.

Unlike co-creators Seinfeld and David, Richards, Louis-Dreyfus and Alexander do not own a stake in “Seinfeld,” which significantly lessens what they earn from the series’ postmortem run. The three co-stars receive SAG-AFTRA residuals and a cut of DVD sales, but those cuts don’t come close to the estimated $400 million per year that Seinfeld and David will earn from the latest syndication deal.

    * No fucking way they got $400M per year. They each get 12.5% of the profits based on what I read.

I wonder who gets Sam Simon's money for doing nothing from the Simpsons.

Also Howards old shows have no value and neither do his new ones, they are even more worthless.

Howard likes to remind everyone that he invented Seinfeld before the show became a hit......and wants you to forget that he shit on it for the next 20 years.
Larry Davids name was never mentioned on the Stern show though he obviously knew who Larry was.

Three Stars of 'Seinfeld' Boycott a DVD Deal
    By SHARON WAXMAN
    Published: December 23, 2003

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22— Three of the four leading cast members of the hit television comedy ''Seinfeld'' are declining to participate in the making of a DVD series of the show because they are unhappy with the related financial deals they have had over the years, people close to the actors and the show said on Monday.

These people said that the three actors -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Elaine; Michael Richards, who played Kramer; and Jason Alexander, who played George -- made the joint decision not to give on-camera interviews for the DVD or otherwise participate in it.

Executives at Castle Rock Television, which produced the show for NBC, and Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, which will distribute the DVD, ''were only willing to give a small recording fee to the three of them and not a piece of the action,'' said a representative for one of the actors, who spoke on condition of anonymity. ''So they all said, 'Why should we make other people richer?' ''

Salaries Reported in Deal For Cast of 'Seinfeld'
    Published: May 12, 1997

LOS ANGELES, May 11— The three main supporting cast members of the NBC television series ''Seinfeld'' will each earn about $600,000 an episode, Variety reported today. Citing sources, Variety said Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards agreed to a contract that raised their salaries from about $160,000 per show. Jerry Seinfeld, the star of the show as well as its co-creator and producer, will still be paid about $1 million per episode, the sources said.

According to an above post, Larry makes over $1million/day for doing nothing - yet unlike our favorite lazy lout, unprideful King Of Nothing, he's still cranking out topical, cutting edge comedy, movies and now a play. Wonder if his papa pampered him like Ben did Howchie? Or what the residuals are for the Channel 9 show, LOL
