    Sad. R. I. P.

Jim loved his father and busted his ass for him in the years of his health decline.

Jim was truly a good son to him. Not many people would do what he did for his dad in his last years.
This loss will be hard on him.

When Howard is nearing the end he will have his Ralph by his side. Sponge baths and caressing the wig.

Jim, you are one class act, dude. If there's anything at all to this notion of karma, then you'll be living out the rest of your days in an abundance of peace and happiness. It's a rare fucking thing in this day and age when a celebrity is actually able to inspire people in a positive way, but you've accomplished that and then some. Here's hoping you'll find the strength to be able to celebrate a life, rather than mourn a death in the upcoming days.

Will Jim still tell us stories about how old people shit themselves and are feeble minded....and what a drag it is to care for them?

    Did he die from embarrassment?
Fred, do I have anymore live reads or can we get out of here?

Wow - didn't know this until now. So sad.

I was listening to part of the replay this morning and was thinking about the other shows he did over the years talking about all the care and sacrifices he made for his parents elder care.

Between raising 3 kids, he and his wife also cared for the ailing dad 24/7 in there home, which is no small feat.

You add in the CRAZY mom who was abusing the dad and that's a handful!

Not sure if I could have remained sane and patient through all of that for years and years.

    Kudos (and condolences) to Jim.

RIP to an American Hero- WWII vet.

It's sad how there are fewer and fewer of them these days.

Also one can only marvel at what a fantastic son Jim has been, basically going through a really trying/heartbreaking/ difficult ordeal (although likely not for him because he loved his father) in order to keep his father as comfortable as possible over the final years of his life.

We can only hope that some day we have the same strength to take care of our elderly fathers

Add in Jim's psycho mom that he watches over and piece of shit sister for whom he basically has to raise a kid for and Jim just might be one of the greatest guys ever.

I know I'm not that good of a person
