I have finally seen it.
Im waiting for a flight. Good timing. My battery might die soon...but let's discuss til then.
Soooo...the first scene kinda sets the tone eh?
Love the soundtrack. Get it off itunes...well worth it imo.
Hitler had terrible indegestion.
Absolute best was his Nick Nolte though.
Does your mother suck cocks in hell?
Have u ever sucked ur own tits?? TIA
Dont remember that one. Deleted scene?
Sorry, I abandoned our conversation. The Nick Nolte part was probably the only thing I thought was genuinely funny without any meanness behind it. What a confusing movie.
I think I reverted back to high school English class way too much watching it for the first time. I was picking up on every little thing that might be considered symbolism, like how he covered up his crotch with both hands when he slept on the train, or how he simply said, "It hurts," when the doctor was sewing him up, as though that was the first thing he had felt in an extremely long time.
I was surprised he didn't start talking about the theory that Hitler was having violent orgasms during his speeches, too.
The guy was the very definition of "a lack of empathy."
Absolutely nothing genuine about the character until he tries to get with his brothers girl.
Sums up a good number of peeps I know though.
Loved Greg Turkington aka The Landlord.
Hobos are a clean species.
Polished clean by Wall Street brokers until they're bright cherry red.
The cab ride where he ends up driving was very intense, too. He had what they call "affluenza," right?
Do you think he was trying to get with his brother's wife, or she was the closest thing he had to a friend? The kiss they shared was almost like the one at the end of Lost in Translation.
Also the way they all dressed pissed me off.
Wanting to feel alive? Rather than the numbness he exists in?
Cant answer that one. That whole thing was weird!
