Imagine if First Lady Bush was doing this obnoxious shit. I guess it's okay for the First Lady now to be a dancing buffoon. I hope our foreign allies see how seriously our leaders take their jobs.

You can't see the difference between a diplomatic event and literally whoring yourself out in front of liberal hollywood? I have no problem with the presidents doing things on the world stage if it is for diplomatic relations. Unless it's GW sr. vomiting on the Japanese Prime Minister of course. But appearing late night talk shot skits? What for? Only to be more famous. Beth Ostrosky has more in common with Michelle Obama than she does with Allison Stern.

its odd when adults think they're cute & funny but this is what we get when the media is in a constant state of swooning over these two.

This shit is indefensible The same reason vile shit like Kim Prondashian has a twitter following in the millions, Dumb battered women like Rihanna can have devoted fans of her stupidity, is the same resone our celeb culture has spawned the first Celeb-presidency.

Celebrity. We as a country and culture worship it, want to have it, and sustain it. I blame this asshole [IMG]

Laura Bush once killed a man with her car.

On the night of November 6, 1963, Laura Welch ran a stop sign, causing a fatal car accident that killed her friend in another car. The driver of the other car was her close friend and classmate Michael Dutton Douglas.

Ted Kennedy once let a woman drown to death after driving her off a bridge.

In the Chappaquiddick incident on July 18, 1969, Mary Jo Kopechne, a female passenger of U.S. Senator Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy, was killed when he accidentally drove his car off a bridge and into a tidal channel on Chappaquiddick Island.

She didn't do it as a politician. She did it as a kid and there were consequences. She was 17 and ran a stop sign by accident when it was dark out. The guy she killed didn't have a seat belt and went flying out of his car. Driving deaths are some of the most common deaths for high school and college aged kids.

Laura Bush wasn't running for office. You know...unlike when Ted Kennedy DRUNK DROVE and it caused the death of a woman. And then he covered it up and lied about it. For years. But that didn't stop him from being elected the media from glossing over that incident. When Ted Kennedy died the only thing that should have been mentioned was
    Chappaquiddick.

If Laura Bush had been running for office and lied about covering up someone's drunk driving death....well that's a different story. But anytime she was asked about that incident she was pretty honest. The guy she killed was one of her best friends so I'm sure she doesn't forget that. Unlike Ted Kennedy who stepped over Mary Jo Kopechne's corpse as often as he could. The media was never really soft on Laura Bush because there was no need to hammer her over that incident. She never covered it up for lied about it or swam away from a dead girl to keep her political career going.

Killing someone is killing someone, in 1963 how many state had laws about wearing seat belts? Dancing on a tv show is not embarrassing, also it plays into Michelle's attempt to get America's kids as well as everyone more active you can burn lots of calories dancing.

Also, the first lady isn't elected. Why did you and Hammy change the subject to Ted Kennedy? Was he a First Lady?

& nice stretch with the calorie burn....

She doesn't have "a job" . She is married to the POTUS. Far less embarrassing than anything out of GWB's mouth.

    Nancy Reagan had a cause.

She didn't want kids to do drugs.

So she made a cameo on an NBC sitcom ("Diff'rent Strokes") to raise awareness about not doing drugs.

    Michelle Obama has a cause.

She wants kids to spend less time sitting around, playing video games and watching TV and spend more time moving around.

Because obesity is a problem, a bigger problem than drugs was in the '80s.

So she made a cameo on an NBC late-night show to raise awareness about being active.

Now Nancy Reagan didn't have to go on some stupid sitcom, but she realized that Diff'rent Strokes was the best chance to get her message across to the most young people.

Likewise, Michelle Obama didn't have to go on a late-night show, but she realized that -- especially in this day and age -- doing something eye-catching on a late-night show would be the best way to raise awareness about obesity and being active.

    Nancy Reagan = Michelle Obama.

Oh, wait: But Laura Bush didn't do it. But Laura, unlike Nancy Reagan, is subservient to her husband. She wasn't the type to draw attention to herself.

You may think it's buffoonish, but when you have a high-profile platform to make a difference like the First Lady, then you'd be utterly stupid not to take advantage of that platform.
