In Sterniverse because JJ's attachment to the show (ETM on Fringe etc). I'm a huge Fringe fan and was craving more. JH Wyman and JJ Abrams are putting out a new series called Almost Human. Premieres in November.

Will you check it out? Anybody else a fan of JJ Abrams/JH Wyman, specifically Fringe?

Looks like another show that would benefit from being on hbo, showtime, fx, etc. otherwise it's just another stupid ass procedural, albeit with a great special effects budget.

will it be awesome for the first 3 seasons and then completely fall apart and turn to crap by season 5? that's always great.

fringe was the best until the reboot with peter being erased. it was ok/passable for the next season, i hated the final season.

I hear he's busy at work raping the childhood of 90's kids.

I plan on watching it even though I saw an interview where Wyman said it would be more of a case of the week type show than a full blown serialized show like Fringe became.

Don't worry, he has a history of abandoning TV shows after the first few eps.

Almost all serial shows start off that way. It's after the midpoint when they get a full season pick-up of a second season that they start to become serialized and lose the monster of the week format.

Great promo, but everything on network TV is watered down for the lowest common denominator. Their sponsors want to appeal to the Walmart greeters.

    ...which means I'll pass.

I HATE those procedural, everything-gets-wrapped-up-in-42-minutes horseshit. It's like these execs think we only read books under 100 pages.

...which is what happened to Fringe, but I'm so burned out on the procedural, played-out, formulaic shit on network tv.

Honestly, it's not making me go "ooh!" I'm watching this show on the Syfy network called Continuum and that's 10 times more interesting than this JJ Abrams show.

i find continuum to be ok. i'll watch it because it's sci fi and it's a decent story, but i have 2 continuum's on my recorder and yawn when i notice them. doesn't make me smile when i see i have a new one to watch. sci fi that is during the here and now typically bores me.
