Howard couldn't do what he did, let alone for 30 years. Lest anyone think that he HAS already, listen to WNBC shit. Doesn't count. Howard had his good phase from about 1994-2006.

Brilliant Genius 100x > Effiminate Hypocrite

Johnny called out everyone's bullshit, regardless of religion, politics, status. Always stayed true and lived to make OTHERS look good, only adding to his own legacy. Letterman, who J.C. absolutely loved over that weasal Leno, is the torch bearer. No one ever shined brighter than Johnny!

I watched both actually. Johnnie didn't seem nearly as dickish as Howard has made him out to be. I was never a big Carson fan anyway - more a Letterman watcher. Johnnie did more "corny" jokes while Letterman used to have me cracking up to the point my mom would come in to see what was so funny.

I watched it. It was an excellent show. Lot of new footage I've never seen. Carson was a man's man, God rest his soul

Eh he is a tad too abusive to be a "man's man". Great entertainer but a horrible human being

Carson was the man, never be another one.
Look at all the comics who praised him, fuckin Drew Carey was in tears talking about him. Great show !
