I will say that Howard did have him on the show a lot before he became insanely popular. In 1986, Howard had that syndicated Saturday morning radio show, with a studio audience. One week, just before his big breakthrough, Jon Bon Jovi was the guest. The audience for that show was made up of all women who would be willing to take off their tops for him. At that time I barely heard of him and never heard any of his music.

He did have him on before they were famous, I'll give him credit for that, but what always irked me about Howard in that regard was that he would get bitchy toward people who were on his show before they got big if they didn't lick his ballsack in perpetuity. I mean, come on, for the longest time he was too "edgy" for mainstream acceptance and I can imagine that these people's agents advised them that it wouldn't be a smart career move.
