    I always thought those 1st 2 albums were really great examples of how good early prog-rock could be without the over-the-top excesses.
    They were like a British Vanilla Fudge. Only much superior musicians.

    9 minutes of musical bliss...RIP Mr. Lord, I shall play some DP in ur honor today good sir. What a loss for the world of music. Yet how many people won't even notice...what a shameful musical scene we have today, especially in the US where dance & rap music rules...disgraceful..

    My favorite Jon Lord work.."Space Truckin'" on the 1972 masterpiece 'Made in Japan'. The organ just screams and melds with Blackmore's guitar. Awesome.
