During Tuesday's interview, Jonah Hill said something along the lines of: "If you look at any show that has been on a long time, it hits an apex and gets progressively worse. This show has been on the air for 20 or 30 years and I believe you as artists are doing the best work you have ever done, and that has never been done before." He was definitely being sincere when he said it, but what the hell was he talking about? I agree that most shows hit an apex and get worse, but I think that apex happened ten to fifteen years ago on the HSS. Everyone has a different opinion of when the show turned to shit, but most people agree that the show has become almost unlistenable in the last two years. My only guess is that he has only been listening to the show for a two or three years at most and has no idea how good the show used to be. There is no way a rational person could say that the Stern show is better now than it was ten years ago.
