I'm not sure they really know for sure who did it.
Fuck that guy
What a waste of a perfectly good beer.
As long as they serve alcohol at games this will happen.
Your there 2/3 hours and you have to eat. Drink. Piss, shit . Really. And than complain about the cost.
For the amount they charge on booze he should be allowed to bean the fucker in the head every time he has an empty can.
It starts before you even enter the stadium, $15-20 for parking that is free on non game days.
I'm ashamed to say this asshole is from Hamilton Ontario, the city I grew up in. He was charged with "mischief".
There is talk about looking at the practice of serving alcohol at games thanks to this douche.
He's probably hiding somewhere because of all the backlash.
Someone needs to stop drinking or just stop watching sports. He gets way too emotionally involved and can't take his team losing.
The Jays won that night. That makes him even more pitiful.
Fuck that guy is right. People have no class.
Yes, we get emotionally involved with our favorite sports teams. That's what makes it fun. To get involved and try to alter the game by throwing a beer is really pathetic.
Only a charge of mischief? I might give it a try.
Hardly proof that he was the one that threw it.
He needed 2 lawyers to respond to the claim...& is a sports copy editor at Postmedia. He claims he was drinking from a solo cup, not a can. There is some video showing a woman...
Whatever/whoever it is...bad image & bad sportsmanship....
Yes, there was a picture of him with a plastic cup. It was full, so maybe someone passed it to him? I have no idea.
Whoever threw it should be ashamed of themselves.
Like you said, bad image and bad sportsmanship.
That is only acceptable at a NASCAR Race, and only if Jeff Gordon won in the 90's...
& I'm not even cheering for the Jays....but that whole scenario is BS. I want to see fair play without some idiot fan causing interference. Meanwhile, my Cubs won a battle tonight... I'm drinking to Joe tonight...
I totally agree with you.
I'm cheering for the Jays and this shit is a dark cloud on them winning that game.
Unfortunately, there are idiot fans who take things too far and cause a disturbance. It happens in so many sports.
Nah was a bud light
