Variety reports that Judge Judy is earning $47 million in her 21st year of doing the show. She only works 52 days a year taping 260 shows. That is 5 30 minutes shows a day. Howard might earn more but he has to show up 108 days. This would mean Howard would have to earn about $95 million. No one believes he is paid anything close to that. Judy is earning some sick money for basically not doing much more than judging bizarre cases from people who want to appear on TV. Even A-list actors have to be pissed with how much money she earns. They spend long days on sets when they do a movie. No wonder Judy doesn't want to retire. The article says the bailiff earns a million a year. The article says the reason she earns so much is there no production costs. The show brings in $160-$170 million a year in revenue plus licensing fees from the 200 stations is syndicated to. I don't think Howard has ever had her on the show. He would probably be intimidated from someone who earns more than he does based on days at work.
