South Park - at its very best beats the shit of everything else on that list. Unfortunately, South Park at its worst is a piece of shit and maybe worse than everything on that list. Still, I went with Parker. His high moments are insanely good.

Beavis and Butt-head are my all-time favorite among these guys and I enjoyed Officespace and Idiocracy, but I have to give it to Trey & Matt. I've come to despise Seth for some reason. I hate his voice and face and Family Guy was all I really liked of his and that whole thing has runs its course with me. South Park's having too many duds these last seasons, but still some great episodes in there. Loved the Honey Boo Boo one. I'll still laugh some when I catch a new Family Guy, but I never remember anything about it.

The Simpsons are probably still my favorite, but it's been more than 10 seasons since I was last interested and I hated the movie.

I wish I wanted to choose any.

Beavis & Butthead was cool, King of the Hill is fucking watching paint dry.

Family Guy started out cool, now it's beaten into the ground, American Dad is annoying.

South Park is really overrated, it's fucking all over the place with random quality control for many, many years, people just like their "throw a dart at the newspaper and take a socio-political stance that mocks all parties involved" style they've been doing since halfway through Season 4, which annoys only me because the early shows were way more self-contained and not so overtly topical like is their trademark now.

I guess I'd give it to Trey Parker in the end though because truly, regardingless of the writing quality of a product story and dialogue-wise, those song parodies he writes seriously knock it out the park every fucking time.

I like them all, but it's Mike Judge #1, Trey and Matt #2 and Seth while I like him is a distant 3rd to those guys. Mike Judge not only has B&B, KOTH, Office Space and Idiocracy but he's doing Silicon Valley on HBO which is a brilliant show. That puts him now over the top. Trey and Matt are really just Trey with Matt riding his coattails...

I'm giving it to Judge. Like So much from the others too though.

Write in for Matt Groening bc early Simpsons wrote the book.

Have you ever seen that Netflix doc they've got about putting together an episode in a week? I forgot the title. 7 Days to Air maybe? Anyway, I dug it because Parker addressed the fact that he writes everything but it's all branded "Matt & Trey." He compared themselves to a rock band and how it doesn't really matter who writes the songs, they started together and the band is forever "Matt & Trey," and like when bands split up something would be lost if they did as well.

I explained that shitty but... cool doc.

Unfortunately Groening wrote very little of the Simpsons so I get why they're not included. Great history of show-runners/head-writers starting with Sam Simon setting the template but not necessarily the laughs, and following teams like Al Jean/Mike Reiss and Bill Oakley/Josh Weinstein setting it into the stratosphere.

    Great point.

Parker/stone - south park movie was fantastic. I also really liked baseketball.

Judge - beavis and butthead movie is really underrated. Office space is a masterpiece.

Mcfarlane - one trick pony. Everything except the first few seasons of family guy blows IMO.
