Countless reasons. How you get it down to 2?
I'll get around to more.....
That guy was priceless on the show.
Gilbert was what hooked me on the 90s era Stern. His ability to impersonate the likes of Arthur Godfrey on the Dick Cavett Show was simultaneously bizarre and hilarious (" the problem is ecology and Jews, Dick"). I think the last good laugh I had was back in the 2000s when he and Artie were going back and forth on what not and pissed off the Old Man his Fat Lady.
@6:43ish: "How come none of the actors is falling down when I shoot dem?" might be my favorite all time Gilbert line on the show, because he's sitting right next to Magic Johnson when he says it.
Howie is a disgrace. The way he's turned his back on a guy who provided so many classic laughs to the show, but that's Howie- a fucking phoney to the end. If someone brings up Sam Kinison, Howie will act as if Sam was the best guy ever. But, despite Sam's greatness, if he was alive today, Howie would have kicked him to the curb too.
Listening to his pod cast last nite. ( Ken Berry laughed my self to sleep.
Gilbert if ya read the Shed thanks for all the laughs.
When he does "old Groucho and George Jessle" two of the most obscure imitations that almost no one in Howards Audience even knows.
I have searched and searched where is the Gilbert Bendi tits show? It used to be on YouTube but its been deleted. That may have been the best Gilbert appearance with Artie ever! It all went down hill when Artie told his bachelor party story about his buddy the bad cop requesting a black whore let him get racial. Somebody please help me!
There is nothing better than an out of control Gilbert during the news.
Todd Packer assembled all his appearances in order. I'll say it again... Todd Packer is my favorite human being.
