Must keep the one star reviews ahead of the bullshit "5 star" reviews.

    Here's what I wrote:

After having read the book, I have to say a few things. First off, the supposed author (Beth Ostrosky) did not write this material. This book was clearly ghost written. Secondly, the supposed author Beth did not raise her dogs. She had a team of specialized breeders, trainers, and assistants at all times helping along with her rearing. This is not a first hand account by any means. Secondly, the vast majority of tips in this book come from a myriad of other publications. None of the advice is particularly novel or ground-breaking.

And lastly, if you check out the "author's" twitter (@BethStern), you will notice that as far as her pet cats are concerned, Beth seems to have an inability to maintain their proper health as well, as all of them are extremely overweight. As in morbidly so. She frequently posts pictures of herself with them, and you will notice they are HUGE.

I dare not suggest that anyone take advice from someone who takes such little care of their own pets. Stick with authors who actually write the books they label with their names and who have proper credentials for writing such a book in the first place.

    :c

I would love to quiz her on her own book but she will refuse explaining. "I don't quiz well."

It's downright ridiculous. I seriously doubt Beth could even get through a book, forget about writing one. It would be like an obese miserable black cunt writing a book on say... nutrition. Imagine if that were to happen. :cwl:

Good review. It's a better approach than to write a joke review with "Beth is a horse" type of lines. The truth is more effective.

1.0 out of 5 stars Host is awful to watch May 26, 2013

I love NatGeo and was so disappointed in not the show, but who they chose to host it. She is inarticulate and amateurish. I would love to watch this show if there is a season 2, but only if they replace the host with a professional. I love NatGeo programming but this one was a FAIL.

I'd love to see the bill that Howard gets every month or two from Buchwald in regards to "all things Beth". A lot of energy that has been bought and paid for has been spent on this dolt. I've always been curious as to how much cash Howie has spent on trying to keep that blonde dummy busy.

    That was a great idea.

Here's my critique on that show:

Host is a major turn-off for viewership,

The show itself seems to be interesting enough, as a concept. Unfortunately, the execution of the program is seriously hampered by the stiff performance and 2-dimensional personality of host Beth Ostrosky-Stern. Her involvement represents a clearly poor choice in terms of an affable person to guide us through what would normally be a set of amusing, quirky circumstances. Beth lacks the sense of humor, self-awareness, and frank candor necessary to pull off hosting such a program.

I highly suggest that NatGeo, while having a potentially very good show on their hands, remove and replace the current host with someone more likable and attractive.
