I'm jealous you're somewhere with green grass. Cute dog.

FCC never feed your dog real bones of any kind. It can fracture and puncture their stomach, which kills them. I know, I had a dog die of a round roast bone..just a heads up. I learned my lesson the hard way.

    good doggie daddy.

you should only feed them big raw marrow bones. they are very unlikely to break off little pieces of them (the bone doesn't flake or chip when raw - that happens when you cook them first) and they are packed with nutrition for dogs. they will gnaw on them for hours

Raw marrow bones are ok. As long as they aren't cut length wise, too sharp. They can work on them for hours.
raw chicken bones are fine, too. It's when they are cooked that they become dangerous. Raw chicken feet are a favorite of my girls. And they are great for the teeth. I've had Gracie for 6 years, and her teeth are white as puppy teeth. Vet doesn't even want to clean them yet

I'll stick to Himalayan Cheese bones for my dog..lost a dog to a marrow bone. Won't do that again. It was devastating.

People don't. Dogs do...My dog loves his cheese bone. It seems much safer to me than any real bones only b/c I lost a dog to a round roast marrow bone.

That Himalayan stuff was originally people food, I think. Maybe yak milk or something?

Hey Dump!!! Yes you may have never had an issue but when you do..and you dog dies b/c the splinter of a bone punters his stomach and he dies....then you rethink the "giving the dog a bone thing"..sorry don't mean to be a downer...just saying we all love our dogs... just letting youse guys know from experience that bones for dogs aren't that great.
