    The harmonies between Layne and Jerry were so beautiful. I can't believe there's some other dude now singing all those visceral, heart-felt lines that Layne sang about because that's how he felt about himself and the world around him.

    I think that dude does a pretty decent job with AIC. I saw a live thing on Palladia and they sounded awesome. Sure, it isn't the same but it's better than nothing.

    Shit I forgot about that! I don't guess their styles or voices are really alike, but Staley's voice always gives me the same feeling I get from old (Ozzy era) Black Sabbath. Even the way they used to double track Ozzy's vocals seems akin to the AIC harmonies...

    I gotta admit, the new guy is good. I didn't think they'd be able to replace Staley. This song is one I like to play real loud driving around to scare the hillbillies.
