I'm gonna check it out this week, as I just finished the novel, and October seems like a long way off.

I'm going in with the mindset that it's just an interactive comic, not a game (Jurassic Park was awful).

TellTale games are the same people that did the episodic "Back to the Future" game. Mostly point and click but very interesting dialouge and plot. Almost seemed like another BTTF movie.

    Here's the official website: http://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead/age_gate

***Spoilers from the Graphic Novels are included in the Videos***

No, they don't, unless you mean "spoilers for those who haven't read the comics".

I don't even know that the game would even spoil anything for those who've only seen the TV show, as the plot lines between the comics and TV are vastly different.

I'm up-to-date with the comics (issue #96) and I've read the novel.

I can't convince the wife to read them, though, as she wants to avoid spoilers.

Trust me -- I've never encountered a book/adaptation that was as disparate as "The Walking Dead", and from what I've read, the videogame shouldn't spoil anything.

I'll check back in in a few days after I've played it.

EDIT: Sorry to sound like such a nerd, but I was surprised at how little effect watching the tv show had on reading the comics (and vice versa).

Somebody spewed out a bunch of "Game of Thrones" spoilers yesterday, and it was really irritating.

    Meh. Alright, fine, Gilaet.

I finally made it to the 8-minute-or-so mark of the video Eliasbboy posted.

    People, just read 'em!

    It's totally worth it!
