Yes, I saw that on the news this morning.
As a father of daughters, I hope this goes viral and these kids learn something.
It drives me crazy how trusting some kids can be. I get a feeling more young kids (especially the girls) need to watch this.
To keep from getting a data used warning from verizon......
What is this?
It's a different world from when I grew up.
Social media has changed the game
To catch a dipshit
Ho. Lee. Fuck.
This was terrifying. Those parents must have been horrified.
Between this, and the video I posted in my own thread, it looks like I'm gonna spend my whole morning in tears today.
Seems fake to me. Good message and all, just seems staged. You mean no one peeks out the window first when they're about to meet someone who they've never met? Even dopey kids?
You're one of the good ones ITOK.
Oh, c'mon now! I told you I was already crying. You just don't want me to stop.
And that's why you don't hook up with people you meet online.
I feel the same. Seems staged. Even if it wasn't I feel like these parents handled this horribly. I have a daughter around that age and I'm not putting on a mask and hiding in a van to grab her. Fucking weird.
White panel van for fucks sake?
But that's what really could've happened. I hear these teens even use tinder. Jesus what a world.
My dad used the Clouseau/Cato parenting method to teach situational awareness.
Always be vigilant.
and not in a good way either
I thought the rape van was a nice touch.
To be fair, those parents come across as real pains in the ass to live with.
I'll be the asshole here and say that if this is real the parents are idiots. Hardly anyone is abducted by a stranger. You're teenage daughter is going to get fucked by some dude she knows and thinks she trusts. Everyone is always freaked out about kids getting taken and yet is happens very very rarely.
