I've been watching my KITH dvds a lot recently and it got me wondering if any of them have ever been on Howard's show? If they have I don't remember. I grew up in Ontario so the show was a pretty big part of my life in the 90s and I'm glad to say it still holds up.

I saw Dave Foley on Maron's TV series and he looked unrecognizable.

I prefer to remember him on Newsradio. Phil Hartman was brilliant as Bill, reminds me alot of Stephen Colbert's character

I heard Foley on the Maron podcast too and his stories about his ex and the shit he is going through really bummed me out. he really looks like shit too, judging from that picture. rivaling Howard for aging poorly.

I don't want to get too pro-Canadian here but Hartman was another Ontarian. He was born in Brantford (same as me) and is a local hero. His role as Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure on the Simpsons was pretty much perfect. fuck his junkie wife that killed him. was Hartman ever on Stern? my memory is shit.

Those stories bummed me out too. Seems like a likeable, regular guy. Look-wise, at least he's not trying to unnaturally fight the aging process like Howard attempts to.

What a show with a great cast. Shame that Hartman left us too early.

One of my favvorite shows of all time. I have all the DVDs and actually am watching them right now. FOley was also on Joe Rogans podcast once or twice. they talked about his wife and Newradio. They said they all really got along and spent lots of time getting fucked up after the show and stuff. I may have to go back and find that show since i am cracking out on newsradio right now.

Okay, at the risk of opening up the wrath of all Canadians here...and I love my brethren to the North...I think Kids in the Hall is vastly overrated. They are a very poor cousin to Monty Python. I remember watching some episodes of KITH in late 80s and not finding it funny. Except the "I'm squishing your head" made me chuckle a little. Everything else was just silly.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but my understanding is that some of the troop members are gay. Makes sense, because even at the time I thought, "these guys sure seem to find a reason to dress up in drag every skit."

They just aren't funny to me.
