Everyone knows Kobe is a total egomaniac and players didn't like him.

If you look at his regular season stats in his last good years he looks very similar to Carmello. A super ball hog in the top 5 of attempts per game every year for small forwards.

Kobe had Shaq/Gasol and got his rings. Carmello has never played with a Hall of Famer thus no rings.

    1) Overrated. Finale WAY overrated.
    2) Carmelo deserves everything he gets playing with the Knicks. He's had a million chances to go elsewhere, but he's chosen to hitch his wagon to his hometown wreck of mismanaged Knicks. They're bad for each other and need to be separated.

I stopped watching the NBA in the early 90s. The referees too rarely enforced the fundamentals--travelling and carrying became rampant.

I briefly channel surfed to a game a few months ago. Watched a guy take six steps to the basket without a dribble. SIX.

    Great and overrated

One of the best scorers ever. One of the worst teamattes ever. Never made anyone better. Routinely missed the playoffs when not paired with the best big man in the league.

Kobe being clutch is a complete myth and false

Top 20 player ever. Not top 10.

I don't think he's overrated because I honestly don't know anyone who ranks him that highly to begin with (that highly being top 5). He's a fringe top 10 player and honestly no matter how you rank them when you get to around 8-15 they are all interchangeable. Jordan, Magic, Bird, Russell, and Chamberlain are Kareem are ahead of him no matter how you slice it. Most put Duncan and Shaq ahead of him as well. After that you can make a legitimate case that he's worthy enough to be considered as great or better than the remaining usual suspects, just as you could say they should be ranked higher than him.

The best thing for Kobes legacy is that he never left Lakers.

    I disagree
I've thought about that case a bit. I think it was consensual. The girl looked for a lay day

One of the best ever. The fact that people hate him still, makes me so happy. Fuck Bill Simmons and all the faggots that like him.

I think he's both overrated and underrated, depending on who you ask. To say he's the best ever would be silly; to not involve him in the conversation would be silly, as well.

Like i said earlier, I think he deserves to have his names mentioned in these conversations; he is a seminal player of 21st century basketball. But ultimately, probably shouldn't wind up on the list of top 5.

I saw lots of swing scorers over the years. Alex English, Rolando Blackmon, Paul Pierce. Ballhog swing scorers are pretty common.
