Howard went from announcing he is doing letterman on Wednesday into this bit.

It was really bad. Jokes were horrible. He just rambled on about wanting Leno to die in different ways.

Another thing ruined since Howard has no budget to hire real writers.

Other than the dead on impression of David Letterman, Evil Dave always worked because the jokes written for him were so brutal and non pc.

Unfortunately that type of material is no longer allowed on the Stern show

Was just an excuse to bash Leno.

    This.

The humor in the old Evil Dave bits was hearing a voice exactly like Letterman's say outrageous things you'd never hear the real Letterman say. Flash foward, how could comments that are less edgy than the real Dave's remarks possibly be funny?

Does David Letterman even do a show anymore?
