fuck da police!
Was it an even or odd day?

When Water nozzles are outlawed, only criminals will be able to water their lawn. Buncha trigger happy Fucks.
Its like they always say: "No video, no foul..."
Another brave pig:
Those fucking idiot neighbors who called the cops and told them he had a gun ought to be beaten savagely, too. As for the cops, it's not clear whether the nozzle was hooked up to the hose line. If it was, it's hard to see how they could justify opening up fire without a word.
His family members seem pretty smart, too. They're not going to let that case go without a major payoff or someone getting fired.
Okay. That made me laugh.
If the cops' accounts are true and he did drunkenly point a dark nozzle at them in the dark, what were they supposed to do?
A neighbor called the cops, thinking he was holding a gun. Cops get there an he pointed a gun shaped object at them. I don't understand what cops should have done differently. And I'm by no means automatically pro-cop. I tend to lean in the opposite direction, actually.
I must be missing something.
Did you watch the video? He wasn't watering the lawn. Police got a call for an unknown man on the porch with a gun, they show up and he points a spray nozzle at them and it's dark. The protest the family has is that they should have told him to drop it before shooting. That's not how it works. It sucks but it sounds like the guy made a drunken error. The spray nozzle shown in the video would look an awful lot like a gun and I wouldn't give anyone an extra second if it was pointed at me.
My opinion is based on the video shown and the press conference. The family isn't even arguing that he was watering the lawn.....only that the police didn't tell him to drop it first. If more info comes out I might certainly change my opinion.
though for the whole situation.
i call bullshit .. the fucking police
Was he drunk? I didn't watch the video.
This taxpayer drain must have been bored that day. No women or weaker people to abuse, so he turns to small animals to bully.
In court, this pig and his PBA attorney would swear that the great, big creature was quickly advancing to harm the hero....and the community was next. The beast HAD to be stopped at all costs.
yea and the police dont fucking make shit up .... this is why they hate cell phone cameras..
it will be their word against a dead mans
i just got the joke.
I jumped to the conclusion somewhat. I only watched the video once......he was out drinking with friends then waited on his friend's porch. The friend wasn't home and the neighbors never saw him before.
Don't feel bad..... OP didn't watch the video either. "Watering grass" added for drama.
Agreed. And I think cops should have to wear a GoPro next to their badge. But the cops were there because a neighbor called them. A neighbor who was concerned about a drunken man sitting in a lawn chair or porch in the middle of the night...holding what he thought was a gun. It's not unreasonable to see why cops would be concerned and assumed the same. And it's not unreasonable to think a drunk man fondling a hose nozzle while sitting in a friend's yard might have a lapse of judgement.
You might be right. This might be some unjustified killing. But I see know reason to assume so based on what I saw in that video.
is this story like really old? i recall a similar occurrence in the news months ago, where a black guy was pointing a hose nozzle and the cops said they thought it was a gun so they shot him.
White guy this time. Perhaps white trash to be fair/accurate.
The video's 3:11. Are you that busy that you can't watch before chiming in?
