Artie Lange had a few jokes about his employer, DirecTV, when he hopped onstage at the opening of The Stand comedy club in Gramercy Park. The comedian, who co-hosts “The Nick & Artie Show†on DirecTV’s Audience Network, said the satellite-service provider wanted to build him a man cave with whatever décor he wanted. Lange said he asked for “a painting of Michael Vick playing poker with dogs†and “a painting of Peyton Manning in a Bronco uniform, with a photo of O.J. SimpsonPhotoshopped in.†Dane Cook made a surprise appearance to test out material at the Thursday event. Judah Friedlander, Lynne Koplitz and Neal Brennan, co-founder of “Chappelle’s Show,†also performed.
