The Mavericks/Jacksonville 3 weeks ago...Great theatre...Best was Joe Jackson at the Jones Beach theatre in the mid to late 90's...Warm night in late September but there was a hurricane way offshore and the remnants were blowing a warm fog across the stage adding an eeriness to the show which was fantastic

Last was Spandau Ballet in Boston
One of the Best bands I have seen live is the Simple Minds .
I saw them twice and they are great.

    Others
    Front 242 with Ministry
    Peter Hook last October
    Gwar
The Psycidelic Furs back in the 80s . Last time I saw them they were just so so
    Iggy Pop
    George Clinton

The all time best live band is a boston band called Sleep Chamber.
Best shows ever no BS . Look them up.

Last was "History of The Eagles" and while I enjoyed it, not the best. $400 per ticket numbed the experience a bit.

First was Cabo Wabo Hagar opening for Boston in 1979. Yikes. $12 whole dollars. I have the stub somewhere.

Best may have been Cougar/Mellencamp.... Can't remember the exact time but I think it was 1988. "Lonesome Jubilee" was out. He had gotten sick and cancelled the original date and this was a make up show. If you couldn't make it they gave refunds and swapped out tickets for no charge. I ended up in the 2nd row. He played 3 1/2 hours no intermission and he was on fire. I was mesmorized by his violin player - super hot girl. Starred at her all night long. Still one of my favorite albums.

Last was Smashing Pumpkins last year. Most of the band appeared to be disinterested in being there.

Best was probably Foo Fighters at the Borgata. Relatively small theater (4500 seats) and Dave Grohl ran around the audience during the show while jamming. It was fun.

Last was Taj Mahal a couple weeks back...He's old, but still good.

    The best...Black Crowes 1993

The worst...Bruce Springsteen. Everyone around me was loving it. I was baffled.

Last was GWAR. Best was GWAR. All 14 times.

Honorable mentions to Black Sabbath, Primus and Pantera. All great shows, but GWAR is GWAR.

Do you know if the violinist was Lisa Germano by chance? She's awesome and was super hot back in the day.

Mellencamp is a huge douche though. He lives in my town and seems to go out of his way to maintain his rock star dick image. Everyone here hates him.

The last was The Beach Boys. Saw them last Satyrday. For a bunch of old dudes, they put on a good show. Played for over 2 hours.

Best concert I ever saw was my first (isn't that always the way?). Frank Sinatra at Carnegie Hall. The Chairman hit it out of the park that night, plus I had great seats, second row center.

Last was on Sunday. Eric Clapton's 70th Birthday Celebration at Madison Square Garden. My first Clapton show. Pretty cool. Had some good guests. John Mayer came out and jammed on Pretending. Jimmie Vaughn came out and jammed on Before You Accuse Me. Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall II came out for Let It Rain. Then all 4 guys came out for High Time We Went. Paul Carrack (from Squeeze and Mike + the Mechanics) was his organ player. He was excellent and he did a few lead vocal spots as well. I didn't know what a great keyboard player he was. I just knew him from his singing in a couple of 80's bands.

Best concert is a tossup. Pink Floyd at Yankee Stadium, 1994. Division Bell tour or Roger Waters The Wall tour 2010. Both fantastic shows.

I saw both Disturbed and Skindred at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, but they weren't on the same show. I don't even remember them touring together... where/when did you see them?
