    Hey yooooh!

Just got back after eating dinner out, grabbing some dinner and some beers, perusing PetSmart for some traveling supplies. I always want to take all the animals up for adoption home. The coolest ones I saw were a puppy pit mix, a border collie mix, and two gigantic old cats. Wish I could have brought them all home.

    On Tonight's Menu:

Plate of Home-Cooking from a Restaurant - Brown Beans(double order), Sauteed Kale, Corn Cakes, and complimentary Corn Sticks(too dry, never eat them)...

and a good song to drink to its the band Crooked Fingers with "New Drink For the Old Drunk":

Talk about you food and your music.

So glad there's a lot of people from SFN/SFSN over here. The Howard board is so alive with funny threads and The Bar is fun as usual.

    Welcome home, everybody! :toptip:

That's a lot of beans. :surprised:

I went out for Sushi. I'm laying on the couch eating a Trader Joe's milk chocolate bar right now. :pig:

Not really, it may look big, but each one is about 1/3 of a cup. The plate is a normal dinner plate. I just wanted a soup bowl of them, but that's how they served them. :dontknow:

(the place is known for Meat & Three)

Exactly...I make an awesome Black Bean Salad.

It's bacon. When the butcher asked me how I was gona prepare the loin, he told me to lay the bacon on it, it was mostly fat that would add taste.

I know they are - I goddamn hate them though. Lima beans, kidney beans, black beans, peas - they all have the same texture. Like chalk mixed with snot.

We still have the girls and they all wanted to try iguana so today was the day. It was a win for the anti-iguana crowd, 2-1

I did not know that. I have some really metro-looking black and white square dinnerware, but found the ones that I usually serve while thrifting and I think they're great.

Never tried that, but I like them mixed with Herdez salsa or onions, tomato, cilantro, and Tapatio for a quick lunch. :buffet:

Stick with that butcher. He/she was compensating for the lack of fatty tissue in the tenderloin. Sounds like a professional.

I can't imagine excluding them from my diet.

    You don't even like chickpeas????
