No chickens? A Kenyan lawyer plans to offer President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Felix Kiprono told The Nairobian newspaper he’s fallen in love with 16-year-old Malia Obama and hopes to woo the famous first daughter when her powerful pops visits the country in July. “People might say I am after the family’s money, which is not the case. My love is real,” he told The Nairobian. “I am currently drafting a letter to Obama asking him to please have Malia accompany him for this trip. I hope the embassy will pass the letter to him. I will hand it over to the U.S. Ambassador with whom we have interacted several times.” If Obama accepts the livestock dowry, Malia can look forward to a romantic hilltop proposal in Bureti followed by toasts with a glass of mursik, a traditional sour milk, Kiprono said. He first “got interested in the President’s underage daughter in 2008 and claimed he hasn’t date anyone since. Kiprono vowed to be faithful, promising to provide a simple life for his “queen.” “I will teach Malia how to milk a cow, cook ugali and prepare mursik like any other Kalenjin woman,” he told the paper. If Obama agrees to the proposal, he'll receive 50 cows along with other animals.
