We saw a Led Zeppelin tribute band called 'Zoso' at House of Blues last night.

The 'Robert Plant' looked like Michael Bolton
'Jimmy Page' had a muffin top
'John Paul Jones' had hair down to his ass (should have had a pageboy IMHO)

'John Bonham' looked legit - probably because all I could see was his headband wearing head behind his drum kit.

I had to move away from the front of the stage to a respectable distance (back past the bar) to fully enjoy the music.

The music was good but I believe they fucked up some of the lyrics.

Los of mid-twenties douchebags., a few fights barely averted, some drunk stoner yelling "Levee Dry!!!!" in my ear for 5 minutes straight.

I wish I didn't over analyze concerts this much.

Not a lot of people can pull the tribute band thing off , I seen a AC/DC tribute band and they looked nothing like them but the songs were kinda close.

My Chicago friend also suggested them to me. I was waxing poetic about this on FB last night during the show.

We saw a Metallica one that was awesome, probably best tribute band I've seen. Second fave was r.e.m. Tribute band called 'Reckoning' - they were great first time we saw them.

The lead singer looked and sounded just like Stipe. Last time we saw them they had a new lead singer, exact opposite of Stipe, looked like a 'roid rage body builder. Not cool.

    Which Metallica tribute?

Dealing with crowds is the main reason I barely venture out to see bands much anymore. I'm a hermit.

    My partner, HelloCleveland!

You probably don't remember him from SFN. He doesn't post much here but he lurks sometimes.

I think they were called 'Ride the lightning' or something, they played in Strongsville at McCarthy's on Pearl.
